Today we are rolling out an important change to help keep this community safe, Sapling.gg will now have a soft whitelist that requires you connect your Discord before joining the server and gaining full Discord access.

Starting today, you will be required to link their Discord account in order to play on the server and this can be done easily by going to #:herb:・verification and entering the link code in-game.
Some of you might be thinking why do I have to do this, it's simply a verification step.

Why are we doing this?

• Helps keep the server safe and better moderated
• Helps to prevent unwanted griefing, trolling and hacking.
• Helps to prevent fake/alt accounts.

How do I verify?

- Firstly, Join our Discord server. discord.gg/DPmNfGwXNt

- Add the server to your server list & join. Server Address: play.sapling.gg

- When connecting you should see a 4-digit link code.

- Send the 4-digit link code in a DM with Sprout Link#2454

- You're all set!

If you cannot send the the Discord bot a message, You'll need to enable direct messages in the server. To do this click on the Discord server name (Sapling.gg) and navigate to Privacy Settings. From them you can enable Direct Messages.

Linking your Bedrock & Java Account

This is optional and we do not require bedrock players to do this.
If you play on both Java and Bedrock, you can link your account here: https://link.geysermc.org/

• Removes the **.** in your username and uses your java username.
• Sync's inventory/player data between Java & Bedrock.
